Poor sales of any product results in either full stop in the production of that particular product or sometimes only in a bit slashing in the price, and in case of BlackBerry PlayBook both these things have happened. BlackBerry PlayBook’s poor sales have made Quanta Computer to stop manufacturing so many of those tablets.
Now if you think that’s a bad news for the RIM, then there’s even more to come. We recently heard that only a couple of weeks after the Canadian company launched the BlackBerry PlayBook they only shipped 200,000 PlayBook’s in the second quarter of 2011, and now its said that the manufacturing of these tablets have been slashed at one of their Taiwanese factories.
The Quanta Computer, which is one of the affiliated manufacturers for the BlackBerry PlayBook says that [...]

We’ve seen some simple mouse, and then we’ve seen some mice that have so many buttons that at times it becomes hard to hold them.
But the modern tech ecosystem is all about touchscreen gadgets and hence even in mice, all the physical buttons have been replaced by a touch-sensitive pad. The all new Microsoft Touch Mouse from Microsoft is one fine example of how the modern mice have become. The Microsoft Touch Mouse is a nice alternative for Apple’s Magic Mouse and other touch mouse from competitors. The Touch Mouse as for now is exclusive to Windows 7, and although you could use the mouse on other Windows versions as well, but you wont be getting the multi-touch functions.
The Microsoft Touch Mouse is a nicely build device and sits comfortably in hand and although the device is not ergonomically [...]

HTC Arrive is a good smartphone featuring all basics are there is much more. The phone has Windows Phone 7 OS inside and I want to praise Microsoft for merging all the contact information from the different networking sites and e-mail accounts like Windows Live, Gmail, Exchange and Facebook. Just like other mobile platforms, the merges create duplicates but here it was much fewer as compared to previous phones from Windows.
This doesn’t mean that HTC Arrive is a perfect phone. I would like to have more features in People hub like automatic sign-in for Facebook and Twitter integration. I would also like to see category for viewing and also quickly dialing the favorite contacts.
Apart from the address book of HTC Arrive has alarm clock, calculator, calendar, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. You [...]

Dell XPS 15 is a laptop featuring the new Intel Core i7 Sandy Bridge processor and the system runs fast because of this. For the keyboard, Dell has changed the design, it is not flat with raised key surfaces. Instead, Dell has give it a nicer look this time but it isn’t more ergonomic as compared to the predecessors.
Above the keyboard, there is a settings button which launches pop-up of the useful controls which range from the battery mode to Bluetooth. This is really cool and I would like to see such shortcuts in other laptops too. There is one more button which you can customize for launching any program and the third one shows up fine-tuning controls for Waves MaxxAudio system which runs through JBL speakers.
The onscreen dock of the Dell XPS 15 is a lot like that found on the Mac OS [...]

Gateway has been largely benefitted by getting owned by Acer, just now we heard that the company has launched their all new laptop. The freshly launched Gateway NV75S02u is a 17.3 inch laptop and is powered by AMD Radeon. The all new Gateway NV75S02u gets our attention for more than one reason of just being a new offering from Gateway, some of the reason why we are interested in the NV75S02u includes the fact that it is not being powered by a Intel processor; secondly it boasts a huge 17.3 in display screen and has a price tag of under $600, and if you are buying the system from Amazon then you even could get it for free.
There’s no denying the fact that Gateway had their fair share of problems in the past, and the customers don’t forget such things this soon. Happily, this isn’t the [...]
